ISSUE: The Christian God is supposed to be all-loving, all-powerful and all-knowing. How can He allow suffering in the world?
IDEAS: 1. If God is all-loving, He can't want us to suffer. However, suffering is happening and God wants to stop it. Therefore, He can't be all-powerful because He can't stop it.
2. Some people blame the Devil for the suffering in this world. However, if God is the creator of all things, He must have created the Devil. If He was all-knowing, He must have known that the Devil was going to rise against Him. If He was all-powerful, He'd be able to crush the Devil any time He likes.
