This is a prayer that Jesus taught his desciples when they asked how they should pray. However, this isn't a prayer to be mindlessly repeated. We should take it and make it our own. For example, where it praises God, we could add our own praise, and when confessing we should be genuine in repentance. Some Christians have taken this to mean that this is the way we should structure our prayers: starting with praise, then asking for what we need, followed by repentance and finally more praise.
Our Father in heaven Hallowed be Your name Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread Forgive us our sin As we forgive those who sin against us Lead us not into temptation But deliver us from evil
For the kingdom, the power And the glory are Your's Now and forever Amen
